Children as salt and light
Something worth thinking about.
I remember observing a youth pastor give counsel to an unwitting parent concerned about their child in government school. This mom was concerned that all the boys in the fifth grade use the "F" word all the time.
The youth pastor’s immediate response was, "Salt and light, salt and light".
That reminded me of this verse.
"Send ye therefore your children into the world, that they may be salt and light in the darkest corners of your community. Offer their bodies as a living sacrifice, pure and innocent, that they may be exposed to every vile, filthy, and perverse thing for over 13 years of their youth."
